The Covid-19 pandemic has permanently changed people’s lives in a multitude of ways. But one thing have been constant despite the difficulties faced: the pet-human bond. Although adopting a pet comes with great responsibitly almost as equal to taking care of a human child, it doesn’t seem to stop people from doing it.
Pets have become firm members of families turning pet owners into “pet parents”. The term “pet parent” has emerged over the years as the previously used term “pet owner” seems to imply the reputation of “things” to pets. Being complex sentient beings, pets have formed unconditional relationships with humans and served a magnitude of comfort and joy.
